TOP GOVERNMENT SPACE AGENCIES IN EARTH

Almost every country in the world has its own space agency. But there is a very small number of countries, along with internationally recognized organizations whose own Satellites.

NASA: National Aeronautics and Space Administration

Ø  It is the space agency of United States of America.

Ø  It was established under President Dwight. D. Eisenhower in 29th July 1958.

Ø  Explorer 1 was the first satellite launched by the United States of America in 1st February 1958.

Ø  The Juno I was a four-stage American booster rocket that launched Explorer 1 satellite.

Ø  Thomas Keith Glennan was the first Administrator of NASA.

Ø  Major James Frederick Bridenstine was the Present Administrator of NASA.

Ø  It is one of the most recognized space agencies in the Earth.

CNES: National Centre for Space Studies.

Ø  It is the space agency of France.

Ø  It was established under President Charles Andre

    Joseph Marie de Gaulle in 1961.                    

Ø  Asterix was the first satellite launched by the France in 26th November 1965.

Ø  Diamant-A was a rocket that launched Asterix satellite.

Ø  Jean-Yves Le Gall was the Present President of CNES.

JAXA: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency


Ø  Before the establishment of the JAXA space agency in 2003, it was simply called the Kagoshima Space Center.

Ø Both the space agency of Japan.

Ø  KSC: It was established in February 1962.

Ø  Ohsumi was the first satellite launched by the Japan in 11th February 1970.

Ø  Lambda-4S was a rocket that launched Ohsumi satellite.

Ø  YAMAKAWA Hiroshi was the present President of JAXA.

CNSA: China National Space Administration

Ø  Both are the space agency of China.

Ø  CAST: It was established in 20 February 1968.

Ø  Dong Fang Hong I was the first satellite launched by China in 24 April 1970.

Ø  Long March 1 was a rocket that launched Dong Fang Hong I satellite.

Ø  Zhang Kejian was the present Administrator of CNSA.

BNSC: British National Space Centre, Established in 1985

UKSA: United Kingdom Space Agency.


Ø  Both are the space agency of United Kingdom.

Ø  UKSA was established on 1 April 2010 to replace the British National Space Center (BNSC) and took over responsibility for government policy and key budgets for space exploration.

Ø  Prospero was the first satellite launched by United Kingdom in 28th October 1971.

Ø  Black Arrow was a rocket that launched Prospero satellite.

Ø  Graham Turnock was the present Chief Executive of UKSA.

 

ISRO

INCOSPAR: Indian National Committee for Space Research.

ISRO: Indian Space Research Organisation.


Ø  Both are the space agency of India.

Ø  ISCOSPAR was established under Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in 1962.

Ø  INCOSPAR was superseded by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in 1969.

Ø  Rohini-D1 was the first satellite launched by India in 18th July 1980.

Ø  Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV) is a rocket orbital launch vehicle that launched Rohini-D1.

Ø  Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai, first chairperson of INCOSPAR, which would later be called ISRO.

Ø  Kailasavadivoo Sivan was the present Chairperson of ISRO.
